Material stories
Good design begins with good materials.
We choose a small palette of natural materials and get to know them well — where they come from, how they age, and how to care for them.
01
Natural oak
Air-dried for up to two years, then finished with hardwax oil you can renew at home. Pale, honest and quietly strong.

Ceramic
Thrown, pinched and coiled by hand in small studios. Raw clay exteriors, glazed interiors — no two quite alike.

Walnut
Deep, chocolate-toned and fine-grained. We use it where a piece should feel grounded — tables, lamps, the darker sideboard.

Stone
Honed marble and mineral finishes, cool to the touch. A counterweight to warm timber.

Linen
Woven from flax that needs little water to grow. Stonewashed so it arrives soft and only gets softer.

Metal
Spun and brushed brass that develops a gentle patina — and blackened steel where a lighter line is needed.
